The Summer House
Martin likes to go unseen. Then Ms. Petersen pairs him with Owen for the semester project: quiet, glasses, Star Trek paperbacks falling out of a hoodie. They work. They do not talk more than they have to. It is the first time Martin has not had to hide how easy the work is.
In August, a long weekend at Owen's family summer house. The place is theirs for the weekend.
